Nicolas Cage’s 2009 science-fiction thriller *Knowing* will be available to stream for free on Tubi in the United States from October. The film’s arrival offers viewers a chance to reassess a divisive movie about a professor who uncovers predictions of catastrophic disasters, despite its initially mixed critical reception.

Starring Cage, Rose Byrne and Ben Mendelsohn, *Knowing* earned more than $185 million worldwide against a reported $50 million budget, with DVD sales pushing its total revenue above $200 million before streaming income. It holds a 35% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, although the late critic Roger Ebert praised it as one of the best science-fiction films he had seen.
