Nassim Eronn, a 34-year-old woman from Burlington near Toronto, has been charged with 65 offences including fraud and theft for allegedly stealing from patients and staff at multiple healthcare centres across Ontario. The investigation, which began in May following a complaint at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, was expanded to cover several facilities where further incidents were uncovered. The charges comprise 34 counts of fraud under $5,000 (£3,800), 13 counts of theft under $5,000, seven counts of disobeying a court order, breach of trust, and impersonation. The alleged offences span from February 2024 through to September 2026 across five Ontario healthcare facilities. Police executed multiple search warrants and seized significant amounts of property; investigators believe there may be additional victims and have urged the public to check their financial records for suspicious transactions.
