Socialite Libbie Mugrabi is leaving her six-bedroom Hamptons mansion after it was sold at foreclosure auction when she stopped making mortgage payments. The property, awarded in her 2020 divorce settlement from billionaire art collector David Mugrabi, became a symbol of their highly publicised and acrimonious split.

Mugrabi reportedly took out a $3.5 million loan secured against the home and acknowledged that repayments ceased in October 2024. The estate was previously valued at about $18 million; she now has roughly a month to move out, and says she plans to relocate to Florida and focus on her fashion brand. The divorce settlement’s full terms remain private, although she claims she received paintings, the house and monthly payments instead of the larger sum she sought.
