Anna Kendrick has confirmed her enthusiasm for directing Netflix’s adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling novel The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. The project marks another step in her move behind the camera after her first directing experience, and is being developed with a screenplay by Liz Tigelaar and revisions by Francesca Sloane.
Kendrick said she felt panicked before directing for the first time, but was reassured by advice from Pitch Perfect co-star Brittany Snow.
