Fitzpatrick finished on 20 under par after a one-under 70 in the final round, with Spain’s Angel Hidalgo second on 17 under. His five-shot overnight lead was reduced to two after 12 successive pars, but birdies at the 13th and 15th holes restored his advantage; a bogey at the last did not threaten victory. Matthieu Pavon’s seven-under 64 lifted him into a tie for fourth.
