Drake made a surprise appearance at Karol G’s Houston concert on Sunday, 27 September, joining her onstage to perform his 2016 hit “One Dance”. Fan-shot footage showed the two performing together to an enthusiastic crowd, adding a new moment to their recent musical partnership.

The appearance follows Drake’s attendance at Karol G’s Toronto show in July and their August collaboration, “Ahí”, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart and gave Drake his first top spot on Hot Latin Rhythm Songs. “One Dance”, featuring Wizkid and Kyla, was Drake’s first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 as a lead artist and spent 10 weeks at the top. Karol G has also made history as the first Latina to headline Coachella; her 2023 album *Mañana Será Bonito* was the first all-Spanish-language album by a woman to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
