Sons of Sevilla, brothers Henry and Reuben Vaun Smith from Featherstone, Pontefract, have released their latest album "It Could Be Today" on Ubiquity Records. The soft psychedelic band, known for their sun-soaked Balearic sound, released the album ahead of the darker winter months, offering a nostalgic escape to their namesake Spanish city.

The album channels the band's childhood memories of holidays in Seville, blending West Yorkshire melancholy with Mediterranean warmth and a hazy, stoned atmosphere that evokes summer nostalgia. In an accompanying quick-fire interview, the characteristically reticent brothers revealed influences including The Beatles and revealed they spent formative years at Seville's Don Paco Hotel, though they noted there is virtually no active music scene in their native Featherstone beyond occasional folk nights in traditional pubs.
