Alina Habba marries Turkish businessman in lavish New York wedding
Alina Habba married Turkish businessman Turhan Mildon at New York’s Waldorf Astoria on Saturday, in a lavish celebration attended by about 300 guests, including several figures associated with Donald Trump. The wedding drew attention for its scale and elaborate styling, as well as Habba’s three different dresses.
The 42-year-old wore gowns designed by Christina Martinelli, including a lace ceremony dress, a sequinned reception dress and a short glittery outfit for the afterparty. The event featured about 900,000 flowers, a 30-piece band, caviar for guests and a first dance to Charles Aznavour’s “Hier Encore”, performed by a singer flown in from France; Grammy-winning rapper Nelly also made a surprise appearance.
