Miley’s tenth studio album, *Bass Persuades*, has debuted at Number One on the US Billboard 200, giving her first chart-topper in more than a decade. It is her sixth album to reach the top, following *Bangerz* in 2013, and adds to a career that includes 16 Top 10 albums under her own name and as Hannah Montana.

The album earned 61,000 equivalent units in the week ending 24 September, including 47,000 sales and streaming equivalent units representing 14.22 million on-demand plays. Its 18 September release followed the title track, which debuted at Number 35 on the Hot 100; sales included multiple vinyl, CD and download editions, as well as a cassette. Ella Langley’s *Dandelion* placed second, Riley Green’s *That’s Just Me* debuted at Number Three, and Beabadoobee reached the Top 10 for the first time with *Pylon* at Number Seven.
