Dennis Haskins, best known for playing Principal Richard Belding in *Saved by the Bell*, has died aged 75. His agent confirmed his death to TMZ on Monday; no cause was immediately given.

Haskins first played Belding in *Good Morning, Miss Bliss* in 1988, then continued in the role through all four seasons of *Saved by the Bell* (1989–1993) and its spin-off *The New Class* (1993–2000). He also appeared in *The College Years* and reunited with cast members for a 2015 *Tonight Show* sketch. His other television credits included *The West Wing*, *Mad Men* and *It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia*.
