QALO launches a smart band to wear alongside its smart ring
QALO has launched the SL-1 Smart Band, a screen-free fitness tracker designed to compete with products such as Whoop. It matters to the company’s strategy because QALO says the band and its existing smart ring can be used at different times of day while sharing data through the same app and user profile.
The band tracks movement, sleep, blood oxygen, heart rate, stress, heart rate variability and skin temperature, and also offers health and fitness insights and menstrual-cycle tracking. Its daily Q-Score runs from 1 to 100. QALO says the device has no monthly subscription; it costs $199.95 and is available now, with a spare strap included for purchases through the company’s website, while Walmart availability is planned for later in the autumn.
