Apple has updated Final Cut Camera to fully support the iPhone 18 Pro's variable aperture feature, which was highlighted during the phone's announcement earlier this month. The redesigned app makes it easier to access and adjust camera settings such as ISO and white balance, whilst allowing users to clear the viewfinder quickly with a two-finger tap. Additionally, Final Cut Pro and Motion now support editing the depth of field and focus points of videos shot on the new iPhone 18 Pro, and the app can be controlled remotely from an iPad or Mac to adjust settings including aperture.

Alongside the Final Cut Camera update, Apple is rolling out new features across its Creator Studio suite, including Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Freeform and Pixelmator Pro. Creator Studio subscribers ($13 per month) gain access to new templates and themes across multiple apps, whilst Keynote users with subscriptions can automatically generate images to match presentation slides. Pixelmator Pro subscribers on iPad will receive the Select and Mask tools previously exclusive to the Mac version. All updates are rolling out today, though some features require the iPhone 18 Pro hardware or an active Creator Studio subscription.
