Netflix is developing an adaptation of Hannah Grace’s *Icebreaker*, the first book in the Maple Hills series, and is assembling its cast. The college hockey romance has no release date yet.

Daisy Jelley will play Anastasia “Stassie” Allen, a transfer athlete aiming for Olympic gold, while Connor Simos will play campus hockey star Nate Hawkins, who hopes to reach the NHL. Gabriel Tierney, Auliʻi Cravalho, Peter Berry, Chaneil Kular, Devin Craig and Aidan Shaw have also joined the cast. Jade Halley Bartlett created and executive produces the series; Amanda Lasher is showrunner, and Grace is among the executive producers.
