Philadelphia police are preparing an extensive search of a house that belonged to Raymond 'RC' Horsch, a deceased suspected serial killer linked to the disappearance or death of at least seven women. The investigation began in June after a traffic stop involving Horsch's son led police to the property, where they discovered over a million digital images and videos depicting crimes, with at least one snuff film among the evidence. This search is significant as it may help resolve decades-old missing persons cases and reveal the full extent of alleged criminal activity at the site.

The house contained deeply disturbing evidence: investigators identified at least 58 alleged victims in the recovered material, with at least five women appearing lifeless or unconscious. The property also held an illegal firearm, ammunition, chemicals, a fake FBI badge, a marijuana growing operation and five urns containing cremated remains. Police held a community meeting to inform residents that extensive search operations using heavy equipment will commence on 5 October and continue throughout the month, with significant street closures and police presence expected, particularly on Monday and Tuesday.
