UK thrash metal veterans XENTRIX have released a music video for "Nil By Mouth", a track from their forthcoming album "Allied With The Enemy" due 30 October via Listenable Records. The song is particularly notable as it was originally written for the band's previous album "Seven Words" but was shelved and forgotten before being rediscovered during work on the new record, given fresh lyrics and vocals, and transformed into one of the album's standout faster tracks.

"Nil By Mouth" explores the theme of involuntary communication shutdown, examining the experience of being trapped in racing thoughts too tangled and fast-moving to articulate clearly. Musically, the track blends classic thrash metal with modern precision, featuring the band's signature fast guitar riffs, double-time snare patterns and heavy choruses. "Allied With The Enemy", recorded between late 2025 and 2026 at Backstage Studios with acclaimed producer Andy Sneap, comprises ten original tracks plus one bonus track, with thematic content addressing disinformation, social collapse and personal bias.
