The Pocket costs $240 following a $20 tariff-related price increase implemented in March, with successful pre-orders expected to ship within two weeks. Unlike most retro handhelds that use emulation, the Pocket plays original Game Boy, Game Boy Colour and Game Boy Advance cartridges at 10 times the original resolution with enhanced colour reproduction, offering what many consider the premium way to experience classic Nintendo handheld games on their native hardware.
