Restaurant staff shelter Wisconsin dog walker from persistent follower

Carly Major was walking her senior dog around Lake Loop in Monona, Wisconsin, when she realised a man was following her. She changed route to avoid leading him home, but he removed his shirt and ran across heavy traffic to block her way, so she ran into a nearby restaurant and asked for help.

Buck & Honey’s staff quickly moved Major to a safe area and formed a barrier when the man entered and asked about her. They ushered him out, contacted police and supported Major with food, water and a lift home; officers later found the man nearby and drove him away from the area.
