A+E Global Media Hires Banijay Distribution Veteran Chris Stewart
Chris Stewart, an international television distribution executive with decades of industry experience, has joined A+E Global Media as Vice President of Content Sales. He will oversee sales across the UK, Ireland and Germany from a UK base, bringing to the role extensive expertise in sales, acquisitions and programming across major media companies. His appointment comes as A+E expands its content distribution operations in key European markets.
Stewart departed Banijay Rights, where he held the position of Senior Vice President for the UK and Ireland, following a major organisational restructure prompted by Banijay Entertainment's merger with All3Media. His career spans prominent roles including Commercial Director, Scripted at Banijay Rights, Head of Drama at BBC Studios' predecessor BBC Worldwide, and earlier positions at BBC-Woolworths joint venture 2Entertain. A+E Global Media is preparing for attendance at MIPCOM Cannes this month with several newly commissioned shows.
