Reese Witherspoon’s Iconic 2001 Hit Is Officially One of Streaming’s Biggest Movies Again

The 2001 film *Legally Blonde*, starring Reese Witherspoon, is again among the ten most-streamed titles on MGM+ in the United States. Its renewed popularity follows the release of *Elle*, a Prime Video prequel series about Elle Woods as a teenager, showing the franchise still attracts viewers.

Robert Luketic’s film, based on Amanda Brown’s novel, earned more than $140 million worldwide after being made for $18 million. *Elle*, which premiered in July and stars Lexi Minetree as the younger Elle, was Prime Video’s most-viewed show in its first week.
