The Royal Albert Hall is a major concert venue in London, where Clapton has performed many times over several decades. Some of his Hall concerts were recorded for 24 Nights, a collection that helped make the venue part of his musical history.
The Birmingham date connects the tour to a city with a strong live-music scene, while the London concerts continue Clapton’s long link with the Hall. These performances add to the record of his work as a solo artist and with his earlier bands.
