‘Zombies 4’ Star Mekonnen “MK” Knife Shares Favorite Moments From Disney’s Worlds Collide Tour, Backstage “Mayhem” and His Message to Fans

The Hollywood Reporter ·

Mekonnen “MK” Knife is touring as part of Disney’s Worlds Collide, a three-hour live show bringing together performers from the Zombies, Descendants and Camp Rock franchises. He says the production is designed for audiences of different ages, combining familiar songs with energetic routines and positive messages.

Knife, who plays Vargas in Zombies 4 and is due to return for its fifth instalment, described the show as physically demanding but said the crowd’s energy helps the cast keep going. He enjoys watching routines he is not part of and performing a medley featuring “It’s On”, “Like the Zombies Do” and “Chillin’ Like a Villain”. Backstage costume changes are hectic, he said, but the performers help one another as a team; the tour is travelling across the US before going global later this year.
