The ARIA Awards are Australia’s annual music awards, run by the Australian Recording Industry Association. They recognise releases and artists across the Australian music industry, and the ceremony also features live performances.
Sienna Spiro is a British singer from London whose debut album is called Visitor. The ARIA Awards have also featured performers from outside Australia, connecting the ceremony with the wider international music scene.
The awards bring attention to artists and recordings through nominations, performances and a televised event. This year, Tame Impala and Genesis Owusu are among the leading nominees.
