Powderfinger are an Australian rock band whose best-known line-up includes singer Bernard Fanning. They formed in Brisbane in 1989 and became one of Australia’s most popular bands, releasing albums such as Internationalist and Odyssey Number Five.

The group ended in 2010, after a farewell tour that drew large crowds. A reunion brings the former band members back together to perform, giving long-time fans a chance to see them again and introducing their music to newer listeners.

The tour’s scale reflects Powderfinger’s lasting popularity in Australia and interest from fans abroad. Its expansion across several major cities also matters to people planning to travel to attend.
