The Billboard Latin Music Awards recognise artists and songs across Latin music. Billboard is a music industry publication whose charts track releases and help shape several of the awards’ categories.
The artists in this fan-voted category work in a range of Latin styles, including regional Mexican music and Latin pop. Their nominations bring together performers with different audiences and musical backgrounds.
The ceremony is part of a wider awards season in which music prizes can raise artists’ visibility and recognise their work. This category gives eligible fans a direct role in choosing an award winner.
