Supply teachers are brought in to cover lessons, sometimes at several schools. Their work gives them access to pupils, so schools rely on safeguarding procedures to protect children and respond to concerns.
“Upskirting” means secretly taking a picture beneath someone’s clothing without consent. Images of children can be treated as indecent images under the law, and sharing them online can expose victims to further harm. X is a social media platform where users can post and share images.
The case involved 15 girls aged 13 to 16 across schools in Bury, Bolton and Salford. It highlights how concerns raised by a parent and evidence found on digital devices can help police investigate abuse across multiple schools.
