KILIMANJARO Releases New EP ‘THE ASCENSION (INKAWAMI)’
KILIMANJARO has released the nine-track EP ‘THE ASCENSION (INKAWAMI)’ through Capitol Records. Drawing on his Zambian heritage, Scottish upbringing and life in London, the collection explores losing and finding oneself, and trying to preserve inner peace amid turmoil.
The EP features his siblings Nsanshi and Iñutu, as well as Tony Ann, Aluna and DYO. KILIMANJARO says he worked with DYO to shape ‘Not Like You’, a song about the disorientation and ache of a breakup. He will take a new live format on a UK and European headline tour starting in Berlin on 11 November, with UK dates in Glasgow and Manchester before a London show on 26 November.
