“We can’t get everywhere but we can try!” Iron Maiden announce surprise 2027 North American tour, including headline set at Sonic Temple festival
Iron Maiden will return to North America in 2027 for arena shows and festival appearances, despite having planned a break from live performances that year. Steve Harris said the band decided to visit places missed on the previous tour, particularly the North West and South East, after enjoying its recent US and Canadian shows.
The tour will include headline sets at Sonic Temple in Columbus and Boardwalk Rock in Maryland. Harris said the band enjoys the challenge of playing festivals to audiences beyond its own fans. Manager Rod Smallwood described the previous North American leg as a series of huge sell-out shows with audiences of multiple generations.
