Aespa Says Giving ‘Strength to People’ Is More Important Than Career Achievements
Aespa said that helping listeners feel stronger matters more to them than chart positions or awards, despite a successful year for the group. The K-pop quartet made the comments after receiving the best international group honour at the TMElive International Music Awards in Hong Kong.
Their second studio album, *Lemonade*, reached No. 9 on the Billboard 200, while its title track reached No. 20 on the Billboard Global 200. Karina said the group is grateful that people listen to their music, and Winter said their sound comes from staying true to themselves. Giselle added that confidence can be practised even on difficult days.
