Metallica Share Pro-Shot Video of Breathtaking Las Vegas Sphere Performances: Watch

Metallica have released professionally filmed performances of “The Call of Ktulu” and “…And Justice for All” from the opening night of their Las Vegas Sphere residency on 1 October. The videos show how the venue’s vast visuals and the band’s live arrangements combine to reimagine two songs, including a tribute to former bassist Cliff Burton.

“The Call of Ktulu” features a new orchestral introduction and a giant Cthulhu rising from the sea; the performance ends with a dedication to Burton, who died 40 years ago. The “…And Justice for All” video recreates the album tour’s bound Lady Justice stage imagery, with the projected statue torn apart at the song’s climax. The “Life Burns Faster” residency is scheduled to run through March 2027, and Metallica have also announced a 2027 leg of their M72 tour.
