The Audacity skewers Silicon Valley’s wealthy tech elite with dark humour

The Guardian ·

The Audacity is a dark comedy about Silicon Valley’s wealthy technology leaders, portraying their greed, vanity and influence over everyday life. Created by Jonathan Glatzer, who has written for Succession and Better Call Saul, the series uses sharp jokes to examine the people behind the platforms that have reshaped society.

Billy Magnussen plays Duncan Park, a data company founder whose attempt to inflate a sale price backfires, leaving him willing to break the law to restore his standing. The series also follows his therapist and other powerful figures, alongside more sombre stories about alienation and surveillance.
