Amazon wants you to Bee-lieve wearable AI can recall it all for you
Amazon has introduced two wearable AI devices from Bee, the startup it acquired last year, designed to listen to conversations and turn details into summaries, reminders and suggested actions. The launch extends Bee’s service into Amazon’s Alexa+ assistant and shopping site, allowing it to answer questions about meetings and offer recommendations based on what it hears.
The wrist-worn Bee Frontier costs $74.99 and is available now; Amazon says it is water-resistant and lasts up to seven days per charge. The magnetic, credit-card-sized Bee Eclipse costs $99.99, is due soon and is claimed to last more than 21 days. Both have a button and a light to indicate when listening; Amazon says audio is processed in real time and not stored, while transcripts are encrypted and accessible only to the user.
