Kid Rock Drops Christian Music Album with Eminem Collaboration “Heal My Faith”

Kid Rock has released Halfway 2 Jesus, a Christian music album featuring Eminem, Lil Wayne and Jimmie Allen. Its track “Heal My Faith” brings together Kid Rock and Eminem, whose political views differ, and presents their continued friendship as an example of maintaining personal ties across disagreements.

Kid Rock said the album involved people with different backgrounds and politics, and described Eminem as an old friend in the foreword. Eminem’s verse recalls Kid Rock supporting him early in his career and says he is “my brother, not my political enemy”; Kid Rock closes the track with a spoken message about friendship and freedom. Eminem said the collaboration was about making music with his friend, not choosing sides.
