Which of the Gallagher brothers is the funniest?

Liam and Noel Gallagher are both regarded as funny, but Oasis documentary directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace have different explanations for their humour. Southern ultimately picks Liam as the funnier brother, saying his surreal, unpredictable remarks suit his taste.

Southern describes Noel’s humour as dry and cutting, while Liam’s is more surreal; Lovelace calls the brothers a good double act. A documentary scene in which Noel discusses Liam putting a tambourine on his head illustrates their comic dynamic. The article argues that their ability to tease one another helped restore their relationship and is part of what makes Oasis distinctive.
