Ghostwire: Tokyo joins GOG Preservation Program, which means you don’t have to deal with Bethesda.NET anymore

PC Gamer ·

Ghostwire: Tokyo has launched on GOG and joined its Preservation Program, giving players a version that does not require Bethesda.NET integration. The move matters because GOG says the programme maintains games’ compatibility with modern systems, helping them remain playable over time.

The GOG version removes the Bethesda login prompt and automatically grants the associated login bonus on first launch. GOG has also verified stability and compatibility with Windows 10 and 11. The game is available DRM-free through GOG, where it launched alongside a preserved edition of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

  • Ghostwire: Tokyo is now on GOG.
  • Bethesda.NET integration and its login prompt are removed.
  • GOG has checked compatibility with Windows 10 and 11.
