Bristol beaten by Stormers in Champions Cup opener
Stormers began their Champions Cup campaign with a convincing win over Bristol, scoring seven tries to secure a bonus point. The result leaves Bristol needing to respond in their next pool match after a defeat in South Africa.
Seabelo Senatla and Leolin Zas helped Stormers build an early lead, while Jonathan Roche scored twice. Bristol’s Joe Owen and Sol Moody crossed, but Roche’s second try came after two Bristol players collided beneath a high kick; Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu converted all seven Stormers tries.
