iPhone Duo shipping estimates have already been pushed back to 2027
After preorders opened on Friday, Apple described demand for its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, as “nothing short of extraordinary”. US delivery estimates for new online orders have stretched as far as January 2027, suggesting that some customers may miss the holiday shopping window.
Availability varies: some customers report Apple Store collection as early as 23 October, while others have November or December delivery estimates. Apple says it is working to fulfil orders and will continue taking them online; Best Buy was showing November estimates, while Apple’s store pickup page asked some customers to check back on 24 October.
