Netflix’s Twisted Coming-of-Age Masterpiece Is Officially Leaving
Netflix will remove The End of the F***ing World from its library on 5 November, ending the streaming run of a much-praised coming-of-age dark comedy. The change matters to viewers because the series has built a cult following, but there are no plans for a third season.
The show originally ran for two seasons, from 2017 to 2019, and was made for UK broadcaster Channel 4 before Netflix licensed it for a limited period. Netflix has reportedly decided not to renew that deal. Both seasons have been widely acclaimed, and the series has a 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
