RUSH Postpones Tonight’s Concert In San Jose After Drummer ANIKA NILLES Falls Ill
RUSH has postponed its Saturday 17 October concert at San Jose’s SAP Center because drummer Anika Nilles is ill with flu. The band says the show will take place on 6 December, and tickets already bought will be honoured.
Guitarist Alex Lifeson said Nilles had been unwell during the band’s previous San Jose show on 15 October, but her condition worsened over the following days. The concert is part of RUSH’s “Fifty Something” tour, its first in more than a decade, featuring Lifeson and Geddy Lee with Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold.
