SNL UK Mocks Recent SNL Host Shane Gillis
SNL UK’s Weekend Update segment mocked US host Shane Gillis after his monologue drew backlash for saying women at the gym “just dress like whores now”. Comedian Ania Magliano linked the joke to a story about free cycling shorts for female riders at Munich Oktoberfest, then made a pointed joke about the risks women face.
Magliano also mocked Gillis for using the F-word during his hosting appearance, repeating the profanity in an exaggerated insult. The article says his original remarks drew criticism from Hollywood figures and shade from at least one SNL cast member; it does not identify them.
