Steven Spielberg’s New Sci-Fi Epic Is Officially Still the #1 Movie on Peacock

Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi film *Disclosure Day* has spent a week as the most-watched film on Peacock in the United States, giving it a strong start on streaming after a disappointing cinema run. The film’s performance matters as it was presented as Spielberg’s return to sci-fi and now appears to be finding a wider audience at home.

Starring Emily Blunt as a newscaster tasked with revealing evidence of alien life, the film also features Josh O’Connor, Colman Domingo and Colin Firth. It reportedly earned about $245 million worldwide against a $115 million budget, and has a 79% “Certified Fresh” score on Rotten Tomatoes.
