Taylor Swift gave her first full-band performance since the Eras Tour at the Academy Museum’s sixth annual gala on Saturday, playing four songs for a black-tie audience. The appearance marked her first live performance of “The Fate of Ophelia” and put two awards-contending songs before an audience of film and music figures.

Swift opened with “Blank Space” and closed with “Love Story”. In between, she played “The Fate of Ophelia”, released on 3 October 2025, and “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5, her first full-band performance of that song. The latter is eligible for the 2027 Oscars and is entered in several Grammy categories; “The Fate of Ophelia” is expected to contend for record of the year at the 2027 Grammys. Her backing group included regular band members, four singers and two saxophonists.
