Wyze moved the screen on its new smart scale to the handle so it’s easier to read at eye level

Wyze has unveiled the Ultra BodyScan Plus, a redesigned smart scale that moves its colour screen to the retractable handle, making readings easier to see at eye level. It also expands the number of body composition metrics it can measure, while keeping its features available without a subscription.

The scale costs $149 and is available in black or white, about $30 more than the previous model. It measures more than 50 metrics, compared with 13 on the earlier version, and can sync data with Apple Health, Google Health and Android’s Health Connect. It supports up to eight registered users, plus one-off guest measurements, and includes a basic weighing mode for children, pets and luggage.
