Worldpeace DMT Release New Album ‘Stick Around For Tea’

Clash ·

Worldpeace DMT have released their new album, *Stick Around For Tea*, in full. The duo, Leo Fincham and Rowan Please of The Femcels, are often associated with the emerging “laptop twee” sound, but the record marks another change in their approach.

The album pares back the wonky electronics in favour of more space, while keeping its indie pop songs and humour. Fincham said the pair wanted to keep their work fresh and described leaving some of that space unfilled; their previous mixtape, *Flower Powers*, arrived only a few weeks earlier. They are due to play London’s ICA on 3 November.
