Argentine Pop Star Tini Responds to Backlash Over Last-Minute Miami Concert Cancellation, Calls Safety “Non-Negotiable”

Argentine singer Tini has explained why her Miami concert was cancelled at short notice on Sunday, after the decision upset fans, including people who had travelled specifically for the show. She said the venue was handed over several hours late and that essential production work and safety checks were incomplete, making it impossible to perform safely.

Tini said sound, lighting and video systems were not ready, and that her team worked until the last moment to try to stage the concert. Promoter Ake Music also said technical and production requirements had not been met and that the circumstances were beyond Tini’s control. Ticket holders can seek refunds from their original point of purchase; no replacement date has been announced.
