Russell Brand Trial: Third Woman Alleges He Had a ‘Big Grin’ Like a ‘Clown’ Before Sexually Assaulting Her
A third woman has given evidence at Russell Brand’s criminal trial in London, alleging he sexually assaulted her after they met at a Soho bar in 2004. Her account adds to the testimony being heard by the jury in a six-week trial involving allegations from six women.
The jury heard a recording of her 2023 police interview, in which she said Brand grabbed her breasts, pulled her into a bathroom and orally raped her. She described the incident as swift and said she felt shocked and disbelieving; afterwards, she said, he suggested they exchange phone numbers. Brand denies all charges and has pleaded not guilty to seven charges relating to alleged incidents between 1999 and 2009.
