‘Tales From the Crypt’ Publisher Officially Returns With New Valentine’s Horror [Exclusive]

EC Comics is returning with a second volume of its horror-romance anthology, *Tortured Hearts*, due in comic shops on 27 January. The series brings together love stories with horror, continuing EC’s revival under Oni Press and its effort to revisit the publisher’s tradition of unsettling comics.

The 56-page issue promises several graphic, twist-filled stories, with writing by Michael W. Conrad, Melissa Flores, Sarah Gailey and Malachi Ward. Ryan Kelly, Sami Kivelä and Jenna Cha are among the artists, while five newly revealed covers include work by Dustin Weaver, Reiko Murakami, Shawn McManus and Patricia Martín.
