Rams lose Davante Adams for 6-10 weeks after receiver ruptures his hamstring, adding to team’s injury woes

Fox News ·

Los Angeles Rams receiver Davante Adams will miss six to ten weeks after rupturing his hamstring, adding to the team’s injury problems following an 18-16 defeat by Arizona. The loss of their leading receiver leaves the 2-4 Rams without a key option as they try to regain consistency.

Adams was hurt on the Rams’ final drive and had recorded 480 receiving yards and four touchdowns in six games. His earliest possible return is in December; at the longer end of the estimate, he would be available for only the final two regular-season games. Kicker Blake Grupe and defensive tackle Poona Ford are out for the season, while Kobie Turner is headed to injured reserve; Puka Nacua, Jordan Whittington and Konata Mumpfield are among the receivers expected to take on more responsibility.
