Moment stranger punches pram-pushing Jewish woman in face in anti-Semitic attack – before assaulting three more

Daily Mail ·

A 33-year-old man has been arrested after a pram-pushing Jewish woman was punched twice on Upper Clapton Road in Stamford Hill, north London. Police are treating the incident as a suspected anti-Semitic hate crime and say three women have reported being assaulted; a community group says it received reports of four victims.

The women reported to police suffered minor injuries, and officers are appealing for further victims and witnesses to come forward. The suspect was detained by Shomrim before police arrived and remains in custody. He was also arrested over a separate assault in Islington, which police say is not being treated as anti-Semitic and is understood to be unrelated.
