Kyle Kennedy, a granddaughter of Robert F Kennedy, has died at 42 at her home in Westwood, Massachusetts, her family say. Her death was reported in an online obituary; the cause and manner have not been disclosed.
Kennedy was the daughter of Michael Kennedy and Victoria Denise Gifford, and devoted her life to early childhood education. A spinal cord injury in 2020 left her permanently paralysed, but her obituary said she remained determined to be the best possible mother to her two surviving sons, aged 12 and 10. Her father died in a skiing accident in 1997, when she was 13.
