‘American Horror Story’ Scores Season 14 Renewal at FX

FX has renewed Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s American Horror Story for a 14th season, extending the show’s run as the network’s longest-running hourlong series. The decision comes shortly before season 13’s finale and brings the series closer to Murphy’s stated hope of continuing it for many years.

Season 14 is expected to take the show past 150 episodes. The current, all-star season features returning regulars including Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Jessica Lange, alongside newcomer Joey Pollari; it also had the biggest launch for a Murphy series on Hulu and Disney+ based on four days of viewing, and reached Nielsen’s top 10 streaming charts in each of its first two weeks.
